This is not a cake! This is a giant Vanilla Slice! My strangest request yet but I really enjoyed the challenge! This vanilla slice was 8 times bigger than the normal size and was made with masses of thick vanilla creme patisserie sandwiched between two thin layers of puff pastry and finished with classic icing. The Greggs bag was made with fondant and completely edible. This cake fed one massive vanilla slice fan and his family! This ‘cake’ cost £40.
